Kyiv's Drone Strikes Within Russian Territory Kyiv's aerial vehicles attacked an industrial plant approximately 1,300km inside Russia at the location. City administration confirmed a blast at the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant that caused its water treatment facility to partially collapse, adding that the origin of the detonation was not known. The national defense command stated there was considerable damage to the plant. Ukraine's military confirmed attacking a Lukoil oil refinery at the location in the federal district east of Moscow. The degree of impact was under evaluation. The Russian regional governor verified an assault by numerous aerial vehicles near Kstovo. Russian Defense Legal Adjustments Defense force members will now have to protect fuel facilities against aerial attacks after the Russian leader approved legislation on Tuesday increasing their involvement in the war effort. The national leader also approved legislation authorizing recruitment throughout the year whereas earlier it occurred only during restricted intervals in fall and spring. Russian law prohibits conscripts from being deployed to combat, but after their military service they enter Russia's reserves, putting them at risk of being sent to war.
